10th Mountain Division 

The 10th Mountain Division is a light infantry division in the United States Army based at Fort Drum, New York. Designated as a mountain warfare unit, the division receives intense specialized training for fighting in mountainous and arctic conditions. The motto of the 10th Mountain Division is "Climb to Glory". 

Unit Insignia

The 10th Mountain Division unit insignia is a blue powder keg-like background with a white border and two scarlet bayonets in saltire. The blue background and the bayonets are symbolic of infantry while the position of the bayonets in saltire, also called Saint Andrew's Cross, is a heraldic symbol in the form of a diagonal cross, like the shape of the letter X in Roman type.
