Now you can wear your favorite brooch as a magnet instead of a pin. Hope Design Ltd. artisan, Lauren Hope will saw off the pin backing, polish the brooch smooth, and attach a strong magnetic backing to the rear of the brooch. When wearing a brooch with a magnetic backing, you need to slide the magnetic apart and not try to lift the magnetic backing off. 

This process works best on brooches that are solid in structure and do not bear empty space in their design. It may be necessary to add a metal plate for support, as pictured here. The overall design will be left to the digression of the designer.
