The U.S. Army Special Forces branch insignia features two gold crossed arrows, measuring 3/4 inch in height and 1 3/8 inches in width. Authorized for the branch in 1987, the crossed arrows symbolize the unconventional warfare skills, agility, and courage of Special Forces Soldiers.
